RQID________: 5
PRODUCT_____: TargetD64
COMPONENT___: Executable
VERSION_____: V0.1
FIXED_VERS__:
OS__________: All
ORIGINATOR__: Brendan Reid
TYPE________: Change request
STATE_______: Pending
SEVERITY____: Medium
DATE________: 15.02.99
SUBJECT_____: Make TargetD64 work reverse as well
DETAILS_____:
Input files are one or more D64 images. Out come one or more (host compressed) C64 archives.
ANALYSIS____:
One of the reasons I have developed TargetD64 are the unlimited ways of archiving C64 related data. The way from "anything" to D64 is quite clear. The way from D64 to "anything" is quite opaque. Nevertheless this problem could be solved by a built in default strategy which is changeable by command line and/or environment variables.
CONCLUSION__:
Think about it.

RQID________: 27
PRODUCT_____: TargetD64
COMPONENT___: Executable
VERSION_____: V0.3
FIXED_VERS__:
OS__________: Linux
ORIGINATOR__: Gaelyne R. Gasson
TYPE________: Problem report
STATE_______: Pending
SEVERITY____: Low
DATE________: 20.10.99
SUBJECT_____: D81 files are not supported
DETAILS_____:
TargetD64 is not able to process D81 images.
ANALYSIS____:
TargetD64 is meant to produce D64 images. With this in mind we should produce one or more D64 images out of a given D81 images. Possibly it is intended to pass any D81 image encountered directly to the emulator which would be an alternative strategy.
CONCLUSION__:
Support D81 images directly. Make a profile entry for archives to be passed to the emulator (by default only D64). As a workaround for Linux get cbmconvert and add the following entry to the [GenericArchives] section:
ExtCmdCombi = .d81,cd '%s1' && cbmconvert -P -d '%s2'
